“Serengeti Son” is a portrayal of Africa's iconic cat under the intense heat of the sun and is brought together with a warm palette in a dusty-like setting.  I wanted to emulate the atmosphere that is endured daily as the hot African sun beats down on the land making it glow as the son of the Serengeti stands strong and calm.  The heat is intense, making for a lazy day as he saunters to check out his surroundings. The pride is at rest, but he stands aware and ready for any intruders.
